Reservation and Booking Guidelines:
To secure your booking and reservations, please make arrangements in advance either through our website or via email. Please note that reservations are only confirmed upon receipt of payment. Payments can be made online using our provided link or through bank transfer upon request.

For last-minute bookings and reservations in Ilulissat, please visit I Love Ilulissat Tours in person. Payment can be made on-site using our online link or with the local currency, DKK.

The booking will be under the names listed on the reservation, and any changes to names must be communicated to I Love Ilulissat Tours to avoid being marked as a no-show.

Confirmation:
Upon booking excursions online, an automatic receipt will be generated as confirmation of your payment. For on-site bookings, the guide can provide an invoice that will serve as your ticket.

Cancellations:
I Love Ilulissat Tours reserves the right to change or cancel excursions under certain conditions: adverse weather or ice conditions, technical issues, and force majeure situations beyond our control that may compromise the safety of the tour. The decision to proceed with the tour lies with the captain or guide, based on safety considerations.

In the event of tour cancellation for the above reasons, a full refund will be issued to customers.

Shortened Excursions:
Excursions may be shortened or altered if deemed necessary by the captain or guide due to sudden weather changes or technical difficulties.

While compensation for a shortened tour is not guaranteed, we will assess each case individually to ensure the best possible experience for our guests.

Cancellation Policy for Excursions:
Once a booking is confirmed in our system, the following cancellation terms apply:

- Up to 5 weeks prior to arrival: Free cancellation
- Between 5 weeks and 3 weeks before arrival: 50% cancellation fee
- Within 3 weeks of departure: 100% cancellation fee

We will make every effort to rebook excursions free of charge within the designated travel period, although we cannot guarantee this service. We strongly recommend that guests obtain travel insurance to cover any potential losses in the event of excursion cancellations.

Change of Excursion Date:
I Love Ilulissat Tours reserves the right to adjust excursion dates and times within the guest's travel period, as necessary due to weather conditions or to ensure a minimum number of participants. If a tour is cancelled and not rescheduled within the customer's travel period, a refund will be provided.

Privacy Policy:
We are committed to safeguarding the privacy of our website visitors by:

- Sharing personal information such as name and age entered in our booking system with our staff, insurers, advisers, agents, suppliers, and other relevant parties involved in the booking process. We do not share personal information with third parties for direct marketing purposes.
- Retaining personal information only as long as necessary in compliance with Danish law guidelines.
- Storing all personal information on a secure server protected by firewalls and requiring password access.
- Encrypting and securing all payments made through our website using industry-recommended technology. However, please be aware that transmitting information and payments over the internet carries inherent risks, and we cannot guarantee the complete security of data sent online.
- Providing customers with access to their personal information held in our system, such as name and payment method. Customers can also request to be removed from our internal marketing lists if they no longer wish to receive advertising.

Customer Insurance:
We strongly advise customers to obtain individual travel insurance that covers not only cancellation losses but also personal injuries in case of accidents abroad. While a hospital is available in Ilulissat, serious injuries may require treatment in Nuuk, Reykjavik, or Copenhagen, resulting in potentially high treatment costs.

In the event of accidents caused by our staff or equipment, I Love Ilulissat Tours maintains comprehensive insurance coverage for proven damages directly attributable to the company or its employees. Please note that this insurance does not cover personal items, which should be covered by the customer's own insurance policy.

Complaints:
Any complaints should be promptly reported to I Love Ilulissat Tours, specifying the conditions and circumstances of concern. Ideally, complaints should be addressed with our staff on-site for efficient resolution. If on-site resolution is not feasible, written complaints should be submitted as soon as possible for timely action. Complaints received later than 3 weeks after the incident may not be addressed.
