Eqi Glacier – full day trip Experience the impressive Eqi Glacier on an unforgettable full day trip north of Ilulissat. On this trip we sail through the beautiful Arctic landscape, surrounded by mountains, icebergs and open sea, before reaching the active glacier. At Eqi Glacier you will have the opportunity to experience the ice calving directly into the sea – a dramatic natural phenomenon, where large pieces of ice break off with a bang. The trip also provides good opportunities to spot whales and enjoy the raw, Greenlandic nature. It takes approximately 2 hours to get to the Eqi glacier, 2 hours stay and 2 hours back. Various drinks such as hot coffee/tea, soda, bottled water and light meals will be offered.
